Vocal coach and singer of soul, funk, swing, jazz, bossa, blues and more, as well as a theater actress. All this combined with a higher degree of Sign Language Interpreting.
Sara began her self-taught career in 2012 as part of the "Gospell Clasijjaz Choir" directed by Carlenne Graham. It is in the Clasijazz association where she begins to interact with city musicians, lovers of jazz, funk and soul. From there she begins to collaborate and sing as a solo artist until months later she joins the funk band "Soul Clippers" as the lead vocalist; From there she embarks on a serious career, with many performances in the province and outside it, as well as in festivals such as the "Miaque festival" Porcuna, "Funkbombá" Rota, "At foot of the street" Almeria, "Cazorla sounds" Cazorla, and more.
Sara has participated in various educational musical projects for schools and institutes with: "La didactic jazz band" and "Without funk there is no paradise" (currently). She also participates in educational theater-musicals such as "The guardians of equality" and "Cloty and Alfredo ".
Given her need for knowledge and evolution as a singer, she decided to take classes from different sources, training through intensive courses, private classes and masters. Some of her teachers were: Barry Harris (USA), Mayka Edjo (Madrid), Celia Mur (Berkkle School), Celeste Alías (Liceo de Barcelona), Arundaty Roy (India), Carlenne Grahams (London) and more.
Sara has been a part of many bands such as "Soul Clippers" (funk) "Alma-Zen music" (swing), "1,2,3 Jazz", "Sara y los Picasso" (Jazz, bossa), "The black hill "(Rock and roll)," Funkyds "(funky)," Sara Soul and Carlos López duo" and more. Some of which are currently performing.
She has worked in different music schools such as: "Creative Classroom Tam tam" Almería and "EMA" Almerimar; She also teaches classes in her own space, developing a project where she focuses on breathing techniques, vocal techniques and stage presence. All this, without forgetting the emotional part that is an essential part of our way of singing. Sara likes to work with the experienced emotions, in order to improve our emotional state and therefore our way of singing. All kinds of emotions are valid. (fear, shame, various blocks ...)
She is currently training in improvisation techniques in singing and sign methodology for rhythm and singing with the "Laboratoriocreativocal".
Known in Almería as "Saretha Franklin" for her dark voice, which is considered characteristic of black singers.
